Common questions
Does the tool need an internet connection?
You need internet to open the tool in your browser. The sorting itself runs on your own computer — your pupil data is never uploaded to us or any third party.
How does this help with data protection?
Because pupil data is processed in your browser and never leaves your device, you remain the sole controller of that data — it is not shared with us or any third party. We don't manage your GDPR compliance for you, but the in-browser design means there is no external data transfer to worry about.
How does the annual licence work?
You pay £500 per school per year, with updates included. It's one account for your whole school: staff can share the sign-in and open it on any computer, but only one person can be signed in at a time. Renew each year to keep access — it ends when the licence year is up.
What MIS do you support?
Our products import standard CSV/Excel exports, which all major MIS (SIMS, Arbor, Bromcom, etc.) can produce. For consulting, we can connect to almost anything — just ask.
What if the tool doesn't work for my school?
Contact us at edalytica@gmail.com and we'll do our best to resolve it. You can also ask any technical questions before you purchase — we'd rather you buy knowing it'll work for you.
Can we use it on more than one computer?
Yes — sign in to your school account on any computer and open the Sorting Kit from your dashboard. The licence is one shared account for your whole school, used by one person at a time: signing in somewhere new signs out the previous session.
