Who we are
Edatech is a data tools and consulting business based in England. We provide browser-based software and bespoke consulting services to schools, multi-academy trusts, and education bodies. Our contact email is edalytica@gmail.com.
What we collect and why
We collect only what's needed to provide the service:
- Account data: your email address and hashed password, used to authenticate you and deliver your purchases.
- Purchase records: payment confirmation data from Stripe (not raw card details — those never touch our servers).
- Consulting enquiries: name, organisation, email, and project description when you submit the consulting form.
- Support emails: correspondence you initiate via email.
We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties for marketing.
Our products and pupil data
Our tools run entirely in your browser, on your own device. We have no technical ability to access the pupil or school data you process with them. That data never leaves your device. Your school remains the sole data controller for any pupil data processed by our software. We are not a data processor for the purposes of that data.
Your rights under UK GDPR
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Object to processing or request restriction.
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
